Voter ID Policies Maintain the Power of the Few and Promote Iniquity

ISAIAH assembled 40+ clergy leaders to call for just policies that promote racial and economic equity. Rev. Paul Slack, pastor at New Creation Church, Minneapolis, President, ISAIAH said, " America and the state of Minnesota have revoked our right rather than defending it. It is time for us to stand on the sides of those who have needs of us working with them rather than on the side of those who already have the things that they want and the things that they need and more. I believe that the root of voter ID and similar practices... is to maintain power for the few."
