Last week, a portion of President Obama's Eulogy for Reverend Pinckney went viral when he broke into Amazing Grace and sang with the church. The rest of the eulogy is a deep look into America's past and future, and worth thoughtful and careful consideration in this present moment for all citizens. Martin Luther King, Jr once said, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice." No where does that inexorable trend more apply than same-sex marriage. Slowly one after another gay marriage ban has fallen in the courts. This time it was Kentucky's turn.

Both sides are advocating for the same thing in Oregon's same-sex marriage ban case – to overturn the discriminatory law. Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum will not advocate for the voter-approved measure, calling it legally indefensible.
