Investigators came a little closer to the truth at a hearing yesterday, where New Jersey Governor Chris Christie's Press Secretary, Michael Drewniak, admitted that the governor had been told about the "traffic study" at the George Washington Bridge. Still unknown (or at least not confirmed) is Christie's hand in ordering the lane closures.
