Open Carry Unless You're Black: Man Killed by Police for Trying to Purchase BB Gun at Walmart

John Crawford was walking through the aisles of Walmart with a BB gun he picked up from the store shelves. A hysterical customer saw a young black man with what they thought was a gun and called police. Beavercreek police showed up and shot John Crawford dead.
