Obama:No Patience For Sandy Recovery Red Tape

President Obama at FEMA headquarters says military transports are moving equipment from as far away as California to get the power back on in the areas hit by hurricane Sandy. He says it is critical to meet people's basic needs with power, heat and temporary shelter. The National Guard and other federal agencies are moving to get transportation running again.

"We don't have any patience for bureaucracy . We don't have any patience for red tape," President Obama told reporters.

He says if people need assistance they can start to get it by calling 800 631-FEMA
