Obama Will Have to Overcome Birthers, Billionaires, Pastors, Homophobes, And More To Win In 2012.

Barack Obama will be the recipient of ceaseless barrages of negative TV ads, mail-outs, sermons from the pulpits, Birthers, etc., in the 2012 Presidential election. Nobody knows what percent of the population is racist, that sort of stuff is only discussed in quite rooms, but that portion of the population will also be working hard to defeat Barack Obama.

The Birthers: 13% of all Americans believe Barack Obama was definitely or probably born in another country. That's a lot of people and very troubling.

May 13, 2011 Gallup Poll
President Obama's release of his long-form birth certificate appears to have significantly reduced skepticism about his place of birth, but by no means completely. All political groups are more likely after the release than they were before it to say Obama was definitely or probably born in the U.S. Still, 13% of all Americans and nearly one in four Republicans continue to say he was definitely or probably born in another country. And one in five Americans still say they don't know enough to say one way or the other.

The Preachers And Homophobes:

Preachers will be spreading their anti Obama and homophobic messages to their flocks all across American, with their subtle and not so subtle sermons. Preachers like Pastor Charles L. Worley of Providence Road Baptist Church, Sean Harris, Pastor of Berean Baptist Church and Pastor Jeff Sangl of Apostolic Truth Tabernacle.

I suspect Kentucky's own Jeff Fugate of Clays Mill Road Baptist Church will also get on board to help the Republicans.

Many in the Christian community will continue to promote the untruth that Barack Obama is a Muslim.

The Racist.

This 2012 Presidential election will bring out the racist and they will vote. Like they say, they don't want to "Re-Nig", in 2012.

The Right-Wing Email Attacks.

The Right-Wing will flood their base with false negative emails (like these) about Barack Obama and the right-wing base will fall for the lies hook, line and sinker.

The Billionaires.

Billionaires like Sheldon Adelson worth $24.9 billion will be helping Romney big time.

Forbes
Adelson, who has built Las Vegas Sands into an global casino empire, will do “whatever it takes” to defeat Obama, this source says. And given that Adelson is worth $24.9  billion–and told Forbes in a recent rare interview about his political giving that he had been willing to donate as much as $100 million to his initial presidential preference, Newt Gingrich–that “limitless” description telegraphs potential nine-digit support of Romney.

The billionaire Koch Brothers will be helping Mitt Romney also. To the tune of about $400 million.

The Super Pacs $1 Billion.

Politico
Republican super PACs and other outside groups shaped by a loose network of prominent conservatives – including Karl Rove, the Koch brothers and Tom Donohue of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce – plan to spend roughly $1 billion on November’s elections for the White House and control of Congress, according to officials familiar with the groups’ internal operations.

That total includes previously undisclosed plans for newly aggressive spending by the Koch brothers, who are steering funding to build sophisticated, county-by-county operations in key states. POLITICO has learned that Koch-related organizations plan to spend about $400 million ahead of the 2012 elections - twice what they had been expected to commit. Read more.

A billion dollars to get Mitt Romney elected, but wait there's more. The Romney campaign and the Republican National Committee intend to raise another $800 million. That's close to $2 billion dollars and I suspect it will surpass $2 billion dollars before Tuesday, November 6, 2012.

As you can see Barack Obama will have to overcome big money and ignorant perceptions to win a second term. However if Obama does overcome the billionaires, I suspect he will a different President and take the billionaires that are trying to buy our country to task, Here's hoping for that Barrack Obama to emerge.
