NRA Silent on Sandy Hook Shooting Spree That Killed 20 Children

National Rifle Association (NRA) proponents did not make an appearance on the Sunday morning news shows following the tragic killing spree at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut Friday. The incident killed 26 people – 20 of them children. Many of the victims are remembered in a public memorial here.

One organization that did not cover the news or release an official statement was the NRA. Meet the Press reportedly invited all 31 pro-gun rights senators in the new congress to appear on the Sunday installment.
