WI Gov Walker Receiving Nearly Two Thirds of Political Donations from Out of State

2016 Republican Presidential demi-hopeful Scott Walker is getting a jumpstart on his fundraising practice. 

A new interactive map shows an influx of out-of-state donations coming the Wisconsin governor's way since he enacted his landmark, anti-union piece of legislation, Act 10, in February of 2011.

The Capital Times reveals what many lamented during the failed Walker Recall effort — that the Governor’s support comes not from his home state, but from Washington, DC and beyond.

Before Act 10, Gov. Walker was receiving 91 percent of his contributions from in-state donors.  Since then, only 38 percent of his donations have come from Wisconsin residents.  Have a go at the chart...
