Minnesota Democrats introduce a bill to stop ?dual tracking?, a foreclosure practice that Minnesota banks have repeatedly used against homeowners who have fallen on hard financial times The UpTake has highlighted many of the people who have fallen victim to ?dual tracking? where banks tell homeowners who have fallen behind on their mortgage that they will work with them to modify the payments, while at the same time arrange to foreclose on the home. One of those who has been fighting dual tracking foreclosure is Rose McGee who speaks at the news conference. The billapos;s sponsors, Representative Mike Freiberg (DFL-Golden Valley), State Representative Karen Clark (DFL-Minneapolis) and Representative Raymond Dehn (DFL-Minneapolis) also speak about what it does.
