Five Cartoons About Our Spectacular Do-Nothing Congress

It's popular in the media these days to dub the 112th Congress, which ended its strangle-hold on progress and compromise Wednesday, as a "Do-Nothing Congress." Unfortunately, this is completely unfair to the first "Do-Nothing Congress", a phrase President Harry Truman coined to describe the 80th Congress (1947-1948), who were only able to pass 906 bills.

So how many bills did our current "Do-Nothing Congress" pass? About 220, which is the lowest total by far since the U.S. House Clerk's office started keeping track.
