Brutal Video Shows NYPD Punching Unarmed Teen in Face with Loaded Gun

In the latest video showing the extent of police brutality across America, two NYPD officers are caught beating up 16-year-old Kahreem Tribble of Brooklyn — as the unarmed and cooperating teen had his hands up in an obvious gesture of surrender. His reward? NYPD Officer David Afanador smashed his face in with a loaded gun, cracking teeth and leaving lacerations on his face.

Apparently starting to realize the extent of the outrage incidences such as this cause, NYPD Police Chief is said to be "angered and embarrassed" by the video, according to DNAinfo who uncovered and released the video. And as the Daily Kos reports:

While NYPD Police Commissioner William Bratton has taken the rather rare step of suspending David Afandor WITHOUT pay, Tyrane Isaac, who started the brutality and clearly demonstrated excessive and unnecessary force with the repeated punches to the face and body of Tribble, is just on modified duty WITH pay as is the other officer who did nothing to intervene or support this young victim of police violence.

The sheer brutality of this video, not to mention that Tribble is just 16 years old, should keep this story floating in the news cycle for some time. At least until the next video of excessive force is unearthed.
