MN Capitol Anti-Gun Violence Rally Gets Personal for Hayden

Minnesota State Senator Jeff Hayden tells a crowd that "enough is enough" when it comes to putting up with gun violence. Hayden lost a friend to gun violence and says the issue is "personal." He wants an assault weapons ban and background checks. His statements drew applause from gun violence opponents who filled the Minnesota State capitol rotunda on Monday. Minnesota State Representative Michael Paymar says he "doen't have all the solutions" to solve all of the gun violence problems in the United States and Minnesota.
This week as hearings begin on various gun bills in the Senate, Paymar says he hopes the legislature can draft a "common sense bill" that strikes some common middle ground in the gun violence debate.
