VA Candidate for Congress HQ Defaced with 'Baby Killer' and 'Niger Lover' Graffiti

Ahhhh....Republicans, gotta love 'em. The first photo is of Wayne Powell for Congress headquarters (421 Branchway Road in Chesterfield, VA) defaced with the lovely "baby killer" graffiti you can see below. The second photo is of a Powell for Congress sign defaced at Grove Ave. near Sheppard St. in Richmond (note: I hear this happened to several others, including ones near Powell HQ).

What Romney's Tax Plan Means for VA

Today's Romney University video from former Congressman Tom Perriello is What Romney's tax plan means for Virginia. It is based our joint report with the Center for American Progress Action Fund.
Though Gov. Romney and Rep. Ryan repeatedly refuse to say which specific tax breaks they would eliminate or reduce, the Tax Policy Center calculates that these major tax benefits for middle-class families would have to be reduced by 58 percent to pay for his tax cut for the rich.

NY Mayor Bloomberg Endorses Obama, Citing His Leadership and Romney's Lurch to the Right

[Mitt Romney] couldn't have been more right [about tackling climate change as governor of Massachusetts, including "sign[ing] on to a regional cap-and-trade plan designed to reduce carbon emissions 10 percent below 1990 levels"]. But since then, he has reversed course, abandoning the very cap-and-trade program he once supported. This issue is too important. We need determined leadership at the national level to move the nation and the world forward.
