Yesterday, the senatorial candidate who defeated Linda McSham provided a spirited defense for Chris Murphy.

Stating that the senate seat is not for sale, during yesterday's rally in Waterbury, Senator Richard Blumenthal blasted the Republican nominee's self-funded multi-million dollar smear machine against Murphy.
