Educator Erupts: 'Our Pensions Didn't Cause This Problem'

More than 1,000 Illinois public employees packed the Illinois statehouse Thursday to defend their public pension rights. Unlike Colorado's public sector unions, not a single Illinois union member suggested theft of pension benefits from their retired union brethren as a solution.

Illinois Education Association President Cinda Klickna addresses the crowd at 2:20 minutes into the video. She states: "We know that it is not pensions that have caused this problem. What has caused this problem is legislators taking our pension money and using it for other items."
