Close Combat Class Firearm Instructor Unintentionally Shoots Other Instructor

Former Russian soldier and current firearms trainer and video host Sonny Puzikas was teaching a "close combat class" at the Texas Defensive Shooting Academy in Ferris, Texas.
According to the founder of the academy, the range "allows shooters the ability to shoot the way they want, without the stringent rules imposed like most other ranges."

Crazy Right Wingers Want Their States to Secede

Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Oregon, Kentucky, Montana, Arkansas, North Dakota, Mississippi, New York. North Carolina, Missouri, Oregon, Georgia, New Jersey, Colorado, South Carolina, and Florida. Those are the states whom, so far, have had someone file a "We the People" petition to secede from the United States of America in response to Obama winning the 2012 Presidential election. Texas is the only one to reach the 28,000 signatures needed to warrant a response from the Obama administration and Governor Rick Perry has weighed in.

Let Texans Answer Gambling Question

This week, John T. Montford, the spokesperson for Let Texans Decide, published an op-ed in the Austin-American Statesman calling for Texans to demand the right to vote on legalized expanded gambling in the state.
Each year our fellow Texans spend more than $2.5 billion in strategically placed, just-across-the-border gaming facilities in Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Mexico. The potential benefits to our economy are huge. Depending on the specifics, expanded gaming could create 75,000 permanent jobs in 40 different sectors of the economy, and it would bring several billion dollars in economic development to Texas.
