Crazy Right Wingers Want Their States to Secede

Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, Oregon, Kentucky, Montana, Arkansas, North Dakota, Mississippi, New York. North Carolina, Missouri, Oregon, Georgia, New Jersey, Colorado, South Carolina, and Florida. Those are the states whom, so far, have had someone file a "We the People" petition to secede from the United States of America in response to Obama winning the 2012 Presidential election. Alabama Threatened To Secede and Nobody Cared

A Mobile, AL resident has posted a petition at WhiteHouse.gov that asks for a minimum of 25,000 signatures to an Alabama secession petition.  No... slap yourself: it really is 2012, not 1860.  There's a big difference between the two secession movements: in 2012, a majority of signers are from other states. That's right campers.  The rest of the country is encouraging us to leave the Union.
