Israeli Ambassador Oren Thanks Obama for Iron Dome

Last Wednesday, Israeli Ambassador to the United States Michael Oren thanked President Barack Obama and the United States government for their support for Israel and the Iron Dome missile defense system. In his op-ed, Oren said that the development of the Iron Dome is a "metaphor" for the US-Israel relationship since the early 1990's.

The Economist Endorses Obama, or Just Opposes Romney

You wouldn't think a right leaning magazine like The Economist would support Obama's second term.  They can't stand his stances on a multitude of issues.
The point they seem to make is, this isn't full blown enthusiastic endorsement for Obama, but more of a endorsement against Romney.

President Eisenhower's Granddaughter Endorses Obama

I have said this many times.  That today's Republicans and some of those who support the GOP would never support Reagan or Eisenhower.  In fact some would be calling them communist sympathizers and socialists.
We have spoken about former Reagan officials who have supported President Obama, add in to the mix General Colin Powell and also Barry Goldwater's granddaughter, but now Susan Eisenhower, the grand daughter of a great Republican President, Dwight D. Eisenhower has once again endorsed Obama.

Mudcat: GOTV Will Lead Obama and Kaine to Prevail in Virginia

Mudcat explained on MSNBC with Chuck Todd that he did not see the Commonwealth as a "purple" state, but rather still as a "red" state, based on the makeup of the General Assembly. At a local state level, he is without doubt correct (and it must look extremely red from his perch down there in Roanoke), but thanks to continuing demographic changes and a growing urban population, particularly in NOVA, the picture is not quite as clear on a statewide basis. It is now possible for Democrats to statewide elections without attracting significant numbers of "independents" to its side.

After all, he endorsed him in 2008 so why wouldn't we expect him to endorse him again this year? Here's why it is a big deal.First, we know that if Powell had endorsed Romney in 2012 after endorsing Obama in 2008 it would have been a HUGE deal. He would have been on every talk show and every commercial Romney ran from ...

President Obama (D): 'I bet on American workers'

President Obama, today, in Dayton, Ohio:
Voice: Obama, we love you!
President Obama (D): ....You know, last night, Governor Romney looked you right in the eye, looked me in the eye, tried to pretend that he never said, let Detroit go bankrupt. Tried to pretend that he meant the same thing I did when we intervened and worked to make sure that management and workers got together to save the U.S. auto industry, pretended like somehow I had taken his advice. [laughter] The people don't forget. The people of Dayton don't forget. [voices: "No!"] ...
