Former Staffer Spills Bachmann's 'Unnatural' Campaign Secrets
Peter Waldron, an evangelical organizer who served as Iowa field coordinator for Bachmann and helped her win the Ames straw poll said O'Donnell exercised an "unusual power over Mrs. Bachmann." Waldron and other former Bachmann staff also currently say the Congresswoman has yet to pay them for debts owned from her short-lived campaign.

MN Public Radio Now Has a 'Bachmann Fact Check' Archive

She's the only Minnesota congressmember to receive this "honor" from Minnesota Public Radio so far. (Former governor Tim Pawlenty also rates his own "fact check" archive at MPR, but he's gone.)
How long has MPR has been maintaining a separate fact check archive, just for Michele Bachmann? I don't know; I just noticed it today. It's located way down the web page of MPR's Capitol View news blog, set out as one of their separate "categories" of news coverage.

Star Tribune Won't Cover Bachmann's Conspiracy Theories

The Minneapolis Star Tribune is Minnesota's paper of record. Its doing a disservice to Minnesota by not adequately covering Minnesota highest profile political figure, Rep. Michele Bachmann. They contributed to her winning election to Congress in 2006 by failing to print what she said and report what she did. They've continued this behavior to this day.

Bachmann's Minnesota Business Contributions Dry Up

In theory, Bachmann's an ideal big business candidate--if all you care about is casting votes that protect big business. Her voting record is "gut the liberal state," her record of rhetoric on "protecting big business special interests" is stellar. So why has Bachmann received only $8,000 from Minnesota's corporate community this election cycle?

Graves on Bachmann: Fear-Mongering Doesn't Create Jobs

Bachmann's challenger, Minnesota hotel magnate Jim Graves, 58, entered the fray in early April, quickly rallying state Democrats to his side and, perhaps more importantly, convincing Independence Party leaders and candidates to stay out of the mix, putting as much as 10 percent of the electorate up for grabs.

Michele Bachmann Has Gotten Into a Christian trouble...

Now that's a pretty heinous accusation, using the word "stole" in connection with a Bachmann campaign chairman. And it's also worth pointing out that here we have a case of Christian believers suing other Christian believers in the secular courts (which is something St. Paul really thought was ridiculous and shameful, but who listens to him when there's money and careers on the line.)
But it is a rare and valuable little glimpse into the actual ethical world within the Christian right. The story of the lawsuit is newsworthy because all the people involved in it claim to be on the side of Christian morality. But the Christian right's claim that it observes biblical standards for morality stops cold when it comes to practicing politics.
