Garden State Equality Outreach for Feb. 15 Obamacare Deadline: Healthcare's an LGBT Issue
For the past many days, Democrats have been lending their efforts to enrollment events designed to help alert New Jerseyans to the open enrollment period for the Affordable Care Act, which ends on Sunday, Feb. 15th. Many of those events have been regional or targeted to specific parts of the population who may need additional help with the sign-up process.

Judge Sides with OK Attorney General, Denies Health Care to Tens of Thousands
The denial machine keeps trucking. Even with all the evidence mounting that Obamacare is working, neigh, excelling, an Oklahoma federal appeals judge thinks it's okay to spend taxpayers' money to deny the state's citizens health care.

Bad Day for Big Pharma: Obamacare Medical Transparency Laws Take Effect

Failed GOP Candidate to Obama: Step Down or Face an 'Armed Rebellion'

Failed GOP Candidate to Obama: Step Down or Face an 'Armed Rebellion'
The word “treason” gets thrown around a lot these days, but in this case the shoe absolutely fits. Tom Tancredo, a former Colorado Congressman and recent Gubernatorial primary loser, has become increasingly vocal about the idea that if Obama isn’t impeached, or better yet, steps down willingly, there will be an armed rebellion in the United States which forces him to do so.

Study Shows 24 States Refusing to Expand Medicaid Are Rejecting $423.6B in Federal Funds Over 9 Years
How much of our hard-earned tax money are Republicans throwing away simply because of their Obama(care) Derangement Syndrome? According to a new study by the Urban Institute and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation — a shit-ton. Yeah, that's a technical term.

Scandal! Obamacare Forces Insurers to Refund Nearly $3M to Coloradans
For all the trolling inspired by the boogeyman that is Obamacare, the actual laws and benefits reaped by consumers under the Affordable Care Act are wildly popular. Who would've thought that $2.7 million in rebate checks — just in the state of Colorado — might be something that people want?

Republicans OK With Raising Taxes, but Only When It Hurts Obamacare

Republicans OK With Raising Taxes, but Only When It Hurts Obamacare
Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange took to Facebook yesterday and bragged about his role in a federal appeals' court decision in Halbig vs Burwell. This is the case that attempts to end ACA tax credits for families in states that participate in the federal marketplace — a group that includes Alabama. When families lose those credits, their federal tax bills will rise. Mark your calendar, because this is surely an enormous reversal of the long-time GOP mantra of "no taxes, no where, no how."

Judgment Spray: Dueling Obamacare Rulings Likely Headed to Supreme Court

Judgment Spray: Dueling Obamacare Rulings Likely Headed to Supreme Court
Within hours yesterday, two different courts reached opposing decisions on a key portion of the president's health care plan — meaning a showdown in the nation's highest court is probably inevitable. As more Americans understand and, seemingly in turn, approve of the law however, an interesting political dilemma is beginning to rise for ardent opponents of Obamacare.

Doctor Who? Physicians Who Refuse Big Pharma Money Get Error Message.

Doctor Who? Physicians Who Refuse Big Pharma Money Get Error Message.
The federal government has a word for physicians who don’t have financial relationships with pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers: “Error.” This week, the government began allowing doctors to log into a secure website to check the payments attributed to them by drug and device makers. This information will be made public later this year under the Physician Payment Sunshine Act. In advance, if doctors believe the material about them is wrong, they can contest it. But early reports suggest the new site has some glitches.
