GOP Lawmaker on Fiscal Cliff: 'We Got Whooped'

Moderate Rep. Steve LaTourette (R-Ohio), who is retiring from Congress this week, appeared Wednesday on CBS This Morning and said the GOP "got whooped" in the "fiscal cliff" bill that passed both houses of Congress on Tuesday.



LaTourette was also critical of "chuckleheads" in the House who decided to adjourn prior to passing a relief package for Hurricane Sandy, which has already successfully passed in the Senate.



"I guess they don't have TVs in their homes and they haven't seen the suffering in Staten Island and New Jersey," LaTourette said. "[It's] another example of people just not getting it."
