Robertson: Climate Change Is A Myth Created By Money-Hungry Scientists

“It’s getting warmer in Jupiter—and they don’t have any SUVs driving around in Jupiter—it has nothing to do with greenhouse gases it has to do with the action of the sun, there’s either two much sun or not enough sun,” Robertson said. “Think about how much money is involved. It’s money, they’re going to get a river of money.”

According to Cardinal Timothy Dolan, the billionaire and his friends are "worried" about the recent talk of "poor people" and "inequality" coming from the Pope and are starting to doubt that they should still donate to the church.

Pastors: Why Didn't the Rose Bowl Include a Float With a Gay Person Being Stoned to Death?

Pastors: Why Didn't the Rose Bowl Include a Float With a Gay Person Being Stoned to Death?
Pastors Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner of Generations Radio were upset about a float at the Rose Bowl parade that included a married gay couple which, despite nasty attacks from anti-gay activists, went off without incident (and even won an award). Buehner was perplexed by the fact that the AIDS Healthcare Foundation sponsored the float, saying that its “pro-homosexual propaganda” would “spread AIDS.”

More Evidence Republicans Are the Anti-Science, Pro-Theocracy Party

More Evidence Republicans Are the Anti-Science, Pro-Theocracy Party
A few days ago, the Pew Research Center reported its disturbing - but sadly not surprising - finding that Republican "belief" in evolution has plummeted in recent years. I put "belief" in quotes, because any educated person should know that science has nothing whatsoever to do with "belief," but about data collection, hypothesis development, rigorous testing and experimentation, etc. In short, science is about empiricism and rationality, the opposite of "belief," religion, theology, etc.

“You’ve got a serious problem and I don’t think marriage is for you,” Robertson said. “You have picked a selection of losers, there is something in your character that draws you to these men who are indigent or abusive. I don’t think you’re marriage material.”

Remembering the Religious Right's Attacks on Nelson Mandela
The news today of Nelson Mandela’s passing is also time to reflect on the complicated relationship between Mandela and his anti-apartheid African National Congress (ANC) with the US, which did not always support the anti-apartheid struggle.

WI Gov Walker: 'Having a Copy of the Holy Koran on Your Desk' Keeps Your Job Safe
If Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's new book is a soft launch of his 2016 presidential run, it should also act as fair warning to voters: Walker is shamelessly biased and misunderstands what it fundamentally means to be American.
