Big thanks to all the members of Team Blue Jersey at yesterday's Equality Walk 2012, and Team Blue Jersey Captains Assemblyman Dan Benson, Alex Hohmann & husband Sean and Allison Peltzman. And to all who donated to sponsor us. And all the walkers in all the teams who drove the success. More than 500 people were there, including Sen. Frank Lautenberg (in rainbow tie), Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg, Blue Jersey team captain Assemblyman Dan Benson and many other legislative votes to override Gov. Christie's veto of marriage equality.

Equality Walk was about fun and visibility - not at all competitive. But the Garden State Equality Pub Quiz after ...? Can I just say that Team Blue Jersey & friends - Asm Dan Benson, LD-16 Assembly candidate Marie Corfield, Joey Novick, and Somerset Dems' Mike Goldberg WON.
