Tonight we watched a Republican candidate get schooled in a debate by an incumbent President. So badly in fact, that he started just mostly agreeing with that President to run the clock out and "pass the commander-in-chief composure test" as the GOP talking point seems to be. However, when Mitt Romney wasn't learning about nuclear submarines and that the Army does not have a Calvary anymore he tried to resort to what he has used this whole campaign. Lies.

Documentary Shows That Massive Drug War Spending Has Not Affected Drug Addiction Rates

The controversial war on drugs not only costs a lot, it has done almost nothing to curb the drug addiction rate since 1970, according to this stunning chart by documentary filmmaker Matt Groff comparing the cost of drug control to the drug addiction rate. Groff used the rate of addiction to illicit drugs from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, pairing it with federal drug control budget spending numbers from the International Centre for Science in Drug Policy.

$26,600 in Average Student Loan Debt

Student debt jumped five percent for 2011 graduates compared to the debt load of 2010 graduates. It leaves young adults, typically just 22 years old, carrying an average debt of $26,600 before they even begin their first full-time job.
