Yard Sign Litmus Test

A split ticket yard sign display in upscale urban Kansas City, via an anonymous source:
It took strong sentiments to permit those fence posts to be driven into that manicured lawn.

Evidently, for some, Todd Akin's (R) crazy talk isn't as palatable as Mitt Romney's (R) mendacity.

GOTV Training: 22 Days Out

Last night, I attended an OFA GOTV training. It wasn't my first, but it will be my last. There was a lot to think about on the ride home.Starting at the end, it will be my last OFA GOTV training because in four years, there will be no more OFA. The DNC will merge with our 2016 candidate and his or her campaign. I fervently hope that the lessons learned (and taught) by OFA will be passed to the next candidate. From that first kick-off meeting in 2008, OFA has be...

OH Secretary of State Asks Supreme Court To Suppress Early Voting

You’d think a public official whose job is to supervise free and fair elections would be focused on ensuring that every eligible voter has a meaningful chance to vote and that every vote is counted as cast. Sadly, in Ohio, you’d be wrong.
Jon Husted, Ohio’s secretary of state, is making it his business to gum up the machinery of democracy in the Buckeye state. Clinton Calls Out 'Moderate Mitt'

Where have you been old boy, I've missed ya, Clinton said while on the stump.
Clinton was obviously talking about Mitt severely, "MODERATE" moments during the first debate.  Clinton went on to describe how the debate was like a Bain Capital deal, where Mitt is the closer but has no clue on the whole inner workings of it.  He's just there to close the plant deal.

Poll: MN CD8 Race Extremely Tight

Wow. According to a new KSTP/SurveyUSA poll, the CD8 race between Chip Cravaack and Rick Nolan is extremely close. Nolan holds a tiny lead, which is statistically insignificant given the poll's margin of error:
In an election for the U.S. House of Representatives today from Minnesota's 8th Congressional District, incumbent Republican Chip Cravaack and former Congressman Rick Nolan are eyeball-to-eyeball in a contest too-close-to-call, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for K...
