Newport Beach Docking Debacle Threatens Christmas Parade

Newport Beach, California holds their Christmas Boat Parade every year. However, many of the wealthy boat owners who take part in this parade are threatening to boycott it this season because the city increased rental fees for the residential docks that cross over into public tidelands.
