Michele Bachmann: she's lying, she says Obama's lying--and new fact checking service for you

Yesterday the Big E published a piece how Bachmann attempted to deceive constituents with a political mailer. She lied, telling votersv that another 1000 jobs are on their way, still to come, because of a Korean trade agreement.

That wasn't true(When factcheck.org called to get her office to explain the disinformation, no one would get back to them.)

Here's the good news for you: some voter in the Sixth District who received the mailer had their doubts about Bachmann's veracity (can you imagine that?) That guy sent the Bachmann mailer into to factcheck.org so that they check out the Bachmann claim...

...and they did, and they found out the Bachmann claim was BS.

The good news is: you can do this, too. You can take a mailer, a flier, a video file from your favorite lying politician--and upload it to factcheck.org--

Spin Detectors and factcheck.org are part of the Annenberg Center. And I can't vouch for the claim that they'll get back to with a result in a reasonable amount of time. Why? Because I haven't tried this myself yet, because it's the monolithic Annenberg Center, and because when someone sends out an invitation like this they're probably going to be inundated with fact check requests from all sides.

But it worked this time, for this guy in Bachmann's district. By the way: this is what the newspapers and reporters in Minnesota are supposed to be doing all the time.(Links below, if you want to submit your lying mailer or video.)

NEXT: Bachmann accuses someone else of lying--and it's the President of the United States!

You know: when we accuse Rep. Bachmann of lying, we present evidence of that to justify the accusation. (Because if we called her liar without presenting any evidence at all, Bachmann fans could correctly accuse us of indulging in "smears"; "cheap shots."

But this distinguished member of US Congress feels it's right to call the President of the United States a liar--without presenting a shred of evidence to support the accusation.

That kind of mindless hatred: is why Bachmann's a hero to American conservatives.
