Jon Stewart on GOP's Sandy Relief Debacle: 'If You Guys Can't Vote For This, Then We're F---ed'

On his first show of the new year, Jon Stewart went full Chris Christie on The Daily Show, ripping into House Republicans for their delay on voting for a Hurricane Sandy relief bill.

“This is just a simple, down the middle, black and white, cut and dry, warm cup of what would Jesus, or anything other human being that isn’t an asshole, do? And you blew it,” Stewart said.

Stuart was high critical of the delay, which he called a "move so redonkulous that even their own members were going after them," pointing to other rants by fellow Republicans Chris Christie and Rep. Peter King (R-NY).

Stewart was really angered most by the 67 House Republicans who voted against last week's smaller $9.7 flood insurance bill, saying, "“If you guys can’t vote for this, then we’re f---ed for the next two years. And I’m not saying you’re responsible for all the problems facing our country, but you sure are making them a lot harder to fix.”
