Schmoozer-in-Chief Biden Works the Room During Senate Swearing-In

Vice President Joe Biden is known in and out of Washington for his affable personality and unmatched ability to schmooze. His people skill and ability to turn an akward phrase were on full display last week as he greeted new and returning senators on Capitol Hill.

“Spread your legs, you’re gonna be frisked,” he told family of Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND). He also offered his personal training skills to Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC): “If you need any help with your pecs, let me know.”
