Gun CEO Threatens to 'Start Killing People' If Obama Issues Executive Order on Guns

On Wednesday, The Drudge Report posted pictures of Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin to highlight a right-wing news report that President Obama may bypass Congress and issue an executive order on guns. It's not an uncommon comparison for many paranoid pro-gun conservatives, who view any attempt to enact gun regulations as a power-hungry government run amok.

James Yeager, the CEO of a weapons and tacital training company in Tennessee called Tactical Response, typified this black helicopter conspiracy mindset in a hair-raising video where he threatened to "start killing people" if the Obama Administration moves forward with any gun control measures.

"Vice President [Joe] Biden is asking the president to bypass Congress and use executive privilege, executive order to ban assault rifles and to impose stricter gun control," Yeager explained in his video. "Fuck that."

Yeager pulled down the initial video and replaced it with a more sanitized version that omits any mention of shooting people, but Crooks and Liars managed to download the original video before it was scrubbed, preserving it's chilling conclusion.

"I'm not fucking putting up with this," Yeager said. "I'm not letting my country be ruled by a dictator. I'm not letting anybody take my guns! If it goes one inch further, I'm going to start killing people."

In a second video posted on Thursday, Yeager mentioned the reaction he caused with his controversial video, but refused to take back any of his heated comments.

"I probably allowed my mouth to overrun my logic," Yeager said. "But I don't retract any of my statements... I do not condone anybody committing any kind of felonies up to and including any aggravated assaults or murders, unless it's necessary,"

Yeager's fears are unfounded, since President Obama can't ban assault weapons or close the gun show loophole without Congress. About the only things Obama can do on his own is modernize background checks and limit imports on military-style weapons.
